Your program like below will compile fine but as soon as you will run it you will get the error "java.sql.SQLException: No suitable driver found for jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/test" because of the JDBC because JDBC will automatically load and register the driver, provided you have mysql-connector-java-5.1.36.jar file in your classpath. .
