The Nike went strighter and 30 yards farther than the XLS. I felt the colour scheme makes the driver look quite clunky – I’m sure its intended to look stealth like and powerful but it didn’t really do it for me. That said, these are very good drivers. I actually picked up the square head driver. I think the argument that golfers should change their swings is incredibly "hopeful". They designed a good club now maybe they might turn their attention to the headcover, but then again there are always aftermarket headcovers that will do the job nicely.

If you are looking for a driver you have to try this one. love this club. Since the price has dropped to $299 in retail (at most places at least) I think it's the best deal in drivers. One interesting thing I'd like to point out. With modern clubs I feel the sound at impact is an important factor when choosing a driver. That way I could more easily get the feel for each and be able to compare.

The radical adjustments did not work for me. I was trying to figure out if i like this or the taylormade burner better. I wonder if there were players then who said "I refuse to hit a wood made of metal"?
